Steve will often times buy and sell a few houses to keep the family afloat when not racing. So every time he faces a project with a broken appliance that in need of repair, he get the job complete and saves money just like many other contractors do to make ends meet.

The first electric clothes washers, in which a motor rotated, were introduced c.1900. The motor was not protected and water dripped in causing malfunctions.

"ApplianceZone.com is not just a business. For me and my family it’s a way of life that is much more than earning an income. We come to work every single day with a genuine desire to create something important and much more significant than we could have ever imagined possible even just a few short years ago. There are good times and bad. Rewards and sacrifices. But at the end of the day we feel good about our work and ourselves."
- Jim Allen
